The Secret Beach Bake Box
What began as a humble honesty box has transformed into a phenomenon, drawing visitors from far and wide. People arrive in taxis, dashing through the farmyard in their nightgowns and slippers to savor the special treats.
The Secret Beach Bake box is much more than a place to collect sweet goodies - it's a hub of community spirit. It fosters connection, as visitors pause for friendly chatter while picking their bakes. It's the kind of place where, after weeks of not crossing paths, you're likely to bump into familiar faces on a Sunday morning, each with their cakes in hand, ready to share special moments with family.
The Bake Box was closed for some time but now its back open on a Sunday morning from 9am. With it's ever changing selection of bakes like cheesecakes, and cookie millionaires, there's always something exciting to try.
By indulging in these delightful bakes, you are also supporting a small, local business with a lot of heart.
The new Bake Box has been once again created, with each of the family adding their unique elements.
Location
As you go out of Nairn towards Inverness, take the Ardersier turn off opposite Carnach House, just before Delnies Woods. Follow the road down about 200m and then take a right, there is a telegraph pole at the end of the lan. Follow the road down to the bottom and you will see the bright blue box on the fence.
